Grandma’s Kitchen makes milkshakes in comforting flavors. The goal of the campaign was to evoke a feeling of adventure and satisfaction, and I felt that the trope in food commercials of journeying through fantastical landscapes featuring enticing, bigger-than-life versions of the ingredients fit the bill.
Warm colors and sketchy lines convey a sense of adventure and comfort.
My treatment shows a first-person perspective of kayaking through thrilling rapids of milk littered with chocolate chip cookies and donuts.
Right when we fall down a deep canyon…
…the perspective shifts to a more comforting view of the ingredients being blended into a milkshake.
They sit as a satsfying treat in the inviting cabin after an intense adventure. Just like coming into Grandma’s Kitchen.
